TENNIS COURT RULES
The tennis courts close at sunset and the common area grounds close at 10 pm (SHARP). Please be respectful of the adjacent neighbors and keep the volume down during the weeknights.
The tennis court keys provide access to the first gate entrance into the tennis courts and provide access to the restrooms in the community facility (separate restrooms from the poolhouse).
These rules exist for the purpose of maintaining our courts and providing an opportunity for all to use them. Each resident is asked to cooperate, and assist in enforcing them.
Please be considerate of others so that the courts may be enjoyed by everyone entitled to use of them. Court Reservations and play are subject to the RESERVATION POLICY which is also posted.
1. Do not walk or stand in back of courts while play is in progress. Return balls to other courts without interfering with play in progress.
2. Use of the tennis courts are permitted for Heritage Greens residents, their guests and league play matches.
3. Sneakers or tennis shoes only may be worn on the tennis courts, no other shoes permitted.
4. Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards or any wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the courts.
5. Pets are not permitted on the courts.
6. Tennis courts are to be used for tennis playing only, no other use is permitted.
7. Tennis balls and other debris should be placed in the trash bins provided. When full, please empty into big trash cans located outside the fence.
8. Sitting or leaning on the nets and net straps is strictly prohibited.
9. Please make sure close all gates to the courts and the facility upon leaving.
10. Please recycle all cans, bottles and tennis ball containers. Bins are provided adjacent to the courts.

RESERVATION POLICY FOR 2011
1. Court 1 shall always be available for walk-on. Reservations will be allowed for Courts 2, 3 and 4 only (see Exceptions below).
2. Use of Court 1 and Reservations on Courts 2, 3 and 4 shall be for 1- 2 hour increments. If no one shows up or is waiting, play may continue beyond the time reserved.
3. If the party making the reservation does not show up by 10 minutes past the time of reservation then the reservation is canceled and anyone may use the court.
4. Exception to the above shall be approved practice sessions, scheduled league matches and Heritage Greens special events/tournaments, which are held on Memorial Day, 4th of July
and Labor Day weekends. All 4 courts are reserved for these tournaments on the Saturday (Sunday if it rains) of those weekends. Anyone in Heritage Greens can sign up for those tournaments.
5. Reservations can only be made on the sign-up sheets posted weekly and for the dates listed on the sheets.
6. Reservation sign-up sheets will be posted from early spring to Labor Day. The courts are open during the period when sign-up sheets are not posted, however, the 2 hour time period is in effect.
7. All teams playing league must go through the HG League Coordinator in order to obtain approval and appropriate team numbers. League and other authorized reservations must be approved
in advance by the HG League Coordinator. If approved, the Reservation Coordinator will schedule and pre-print, if time allows, the dates and times on the weekly sign-up sheets prior to posting.
